Recently Cllr Jocelynne Scutt hosted a meeting organised by the GCP in which she outlined the latest thinking on Residents' Parking schemes in north Cambridge. New schemes were placed on hold under the previous County Council administration, but the new regime means that new schemes can now be considered. The first stage is an informal consultation, which will ask residents to decide if they want to go to a full consultation and a vote on plans that would be drawn up by the GCP. At the AGM on 24 April, we will outline what we know about how a scheme might work for our estate and also what might happen without one over the next few years given the loss of parking spaces on Milton Road.
