Local issues

Keeping an eye out for developments that might adversely affect our neighbourhood is a big part of what we do. HPERA was formed out of adversity. Residents came together on hearing of plans to redevelop Milton Road and HPERA was born to oppose the original plans and propose new ones. Sometimes we take the view that our role is to keep residents informed about local issues, and sometimes - such as in the case of Milton Road - we adopt a more active campaigning role.
