MISSING TREES

Andrew Milbourn has conducted an audit of trees in our neighbourhood and identified some areas where there are ‘missing’ trees and areas where new trees could be planted. We believe that keeping our streets tree-lined will help to maintain the ‘garden suburb’ character of the estate, while providing shade and soaking up heat as our weather becomes more extreme. We’ll be asking residents near the missing trees if they are happy to have a new tree outside their house (and to care for it while it gets established). We'll then be putting in a bid to the council to plant up to 25 new trees in the area.
