Some time ago we asked our councillor, Sam Carling, to find out how we might get the redundant Post Office storage boxes (not letterboxes) removed. Sam has advised that we can expect them to be removed in about 20 weeks time – by the end of June 2024, but hopefully earlier.
The 20 weeks referenced comes from 4 weeks for County Council approval, then 16 weeks for Royal Mail to remove the boxes (which is the timeframe they quoted to Sam). Who knows why it takes so long - but thanks go to Sam for getting these eyesores removed!
