The long-awaited Seven Roads Street Party takes place on Saturday 11 July - always an absolute highlight that reminds us all that we're lucky to live in a neighbourhood with such a strong and vibrant community.
The party kicks off at 3
pm and ends at 10:30pm and promises to be jam-packed with entertainment for everyone. Of course there'll be the usual stalls, including a tombola, plant stall, books, homemade cakes, games and puzzles, but other highlights include the incredibly popular Hurst Park Dog Show (Cruft's, eat your heart out!), a Clothes Swish (you might pick up a bargain!), a barbecue and plenty of live music including the popular Highfield Lockdown Jazz Band, and of course, top of the bill, the ever-popular Sugarbeat. HPERA will be organising a skills exchange, so if you'd be prepared to teach someone else how to bake a loaf or mend a leaky tap, do come along and sign up!
Thank you to the amazing party organisers, who have worked tirelessly to put the event together - we are hugely grateful to them!
See you there!
